Tuesday morning I made a stop by BMW Atlanta, picked up some boots and a jacket, which I was lacking, and moved on. Left Atlanta all set, with charging connection for iPod on the bike, an essential necessity. Not sure which way to take, I followed one of the suggested rides in Gary McKechnie’s “Great American Motorcycle Tours” book. He calls it the Georgia Hills Run, and it did not disappoint. It starts in Dahlonega, GA, going north on 19 to Suches, then to 180 and 17 to Helen, on to Clarkesville, up 441 to Clayton, Dillard and 106 to Highlands, NC. I went a little further on 64 to Franklin, where I called it a night at a quiet campground.

I have seen not one fat chick in all these photos. I know she is there. I need confirmation. I know there is a fat motorcycle babe on this trip. Skinny chicks would stay home. Guido, obviously you know that fat chicks are like mopeds. They're fun to ride, but you don't want your friends to see you on them.

The road warrior lives! Looks like fun. Along with the rest of the working stiffs who get your email, I am jealous as hell. I'm in downtown SD. Come when you want and stay as long as you like. Have a great ride and stay safe.
