Virginia, South to North to South

Coming into Virginia, I saw what looked like a more comfortable ride. I asked Herman Munster if he wanted to trade, but no go.

Took all backroads NorthWest to Charlottesville, VA, then headed up to Waynsboro, to catch the Skyline Drive, which traverses the Shenandoah National Park. More great twisty roads and views. Rode on to Front Royal, VA, the end of the Skyline Drive. Then it was down to Richmond, VA to spend a few days with family. My great aunt and her "kids" all live in the area. It was very nice to see them after many years. I was well received on such short notice, and even better treated. Riding is great, but a few days rest and homelife are a very welcome treat. Special thanks for the homey feeling to Muti, Ferd and Lola. Memorial Day Cookout at Steve's was first rate as well. Thanks to all! (Mental note: More people pictures!!! Aaargh!!!)

Some of the wildlife that's nice to see on the side of the road, but not on it!

Other wildlife on the road.

Total concentration (mainly on not dropping the camera!).
