On the iPod today:

“Run”
Snow Patrol

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

Slower slower
We don't have time for that
All I want is to find an easier way
To get out of our little heads

Have heart my dear
We're bound to be afraid
Even if it's just for a few days
Making up for all this mess

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Rode a few mountain passes southwest of Denver.

Weston Pass was a lot of fun.

It got a bit rougher later...

So I pull into a little burger joint in Buena Vista, CO, and am looking at my map, when in walk these three cool people.  That's Robert, Randon and Debbie.  The lost hiker rescuers!  By complete coincidence they happened to drive by and saw my bike and stopped to say hi.  Too cool.  (Notice Robert's shirt??!! hahaha)

No, this isn't a racetrack... it's the Cottonwood Pass!

Made me wish I was in a Rally car.

A fun road just before Cimarrron, that comes out in Ridgway.

Main Street Ouray, CO.

Dont ask me where this was, I just followed a little road on the GPS, somewhere south of Durango.

Middle of Nowhere.  The only shade I found for miles.

It seems the locals don't agree with the speed limit.  I don't either!

I hope I have enough gas...

Ended up at the "Four Corners" where these four states meet.  I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Saw a sign pointing to a dirt road that read "Valley of the Gods".  It was getting dark but I just couldn't resist...

I sat here watching the colors of the sky change.  Two pictures, about 1 minute apart.

And north we proceed.....

Purple Road King at Ridgeway Inn. your pictures look like we took similar roads. We road 6026 miles in 12 states. Loved every minute of it and would head out again today. Good Luck to you and may the skies always be dry and blue!!! Steve in Tenn.
