On the iPod today:
"Perfect Situation" - Weezer
What's the deal with my brain?
Why am I so obviously insane?
In a perfect situation
I let love down the drain.
There's the pitch, slow and straight.
All I have to do is swing
and I'm a hero, but I'm a zero.
Hungry nights, once again
Now it's getting unbelievable.
'Cause I could not have it better,
But I just can't get no play
From the girls, all around
As they search the night for someone to hold onto.
And I just pass through...
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Get your hands off the girl,
Can't you see that she belongs to me?
And I don't appreciate this excess company.
Though I can't satisfy all the needs she has
And so she starts to wander...
Can you blame her?
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Tell me there's a logic out there.
Leading me to better prepare
For the day that something really special might come.
Tell me there's some hope for me.
I don't wanna be lonely
For the rest of my days on the earth.
Oh..!!
[solo]
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhh oh. Ooohhhhhhhhhh.
Singing...
Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Kept going north through Utah. Thr roads remained interesting.

Shortly before this arch, I stopped for coffee and left the bike parked outside. While I was in there a wind storm came out of nowhere and knocked the bike over into the curb. Front brake was damaged, so I was forced to ride to the nearest dealer, in Salt Lake City, 300 miles away, with minimal brakes. Not cool.

At least the scenery kept it interesting....

With brakes repaired I continued north into Wyoming, always managing to find fun backroads.

"I fought the law and the law..." actually the cop was realy cool and said that I stopped so quick that it showed him though I was going fast, I was "aware". He wrote me a warning and sent me off.

Didn't Yogi Bear live here??!!

Before....

After!!! (Old Faithful Geyser)

Sign leaving Yellowstone. No idea.

Simple and to the point, no glitz, no bling. Like Montana.

More backroads...

Where I felt a bit "artistic" with the pictures.

Met Tom, a local rider on a sunday morning ride. Nice man, we swapped stories for a while. He knows Montana like the back of his hand.

Glacier National Park.

Pulled over to look at the map or something and out of the woods came this guy/gal...

More "shadowplay".

And on to Canada!!
