On the iPod today:
"Rodeo Clowns"
Jack Johnson

Sweepin the floors, open up the doors
Yeah turn on the lights, getting ready for the night
Nobody's romancing, 'cause its too early for dancing
But here comes the music ...
Bright lights flashing
They cover up your lack of so many people
So many problems
So many reason to buy another round
Drink it down
Just another night on the town
With the big man, money man, better then the other man
He got the plan, with the million dollar give a damn
What nobody understands
Become a smaller man, the bright lights keep flashin,
Women keep on dancing with the clowns,
Yeah, yeah, yeah,
They pick me up when I'm down,
Yeah, yeah,
The rodeo clowns
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they pick me up when I'm down
The disco ball's spinnin', all the music and the women
And the shots of tequila,
Man they say that they need ya
What they really need, is just a little room to breath
Teeny bopping disco queen
She barely understands her dreams of belly button rings
And other kinds of things
Symbolic of change, but the thing that is strange
Is that the changes occur
And now she's just a part of the herd, yeah, yeah, yeah
Man i thought that you heard
Yeah, yeah
The changes occurred
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just a part of the herd
Lights out, shut down, late night, wet ground
You walk by look at him, but he can't look at you
Yeah, you might feel pity, but he only feels the ground
You understand moves, but he only knows let down
By the corner, there's another one
Reaching out a hand, coming from a broken man
Well he tried to live, but he's done trying
Not dead, but definitely dying
With the rest of the clowns
Yeah, yeah
mmm mmm mmmm mmmm
With the rest of the clowns
Sweepin the floors, open up the doors,
Yeah turn on the lights, getting ready for the night
Nobody's romancing, 'cause its too early for dancing
But here comes the music

Took care of some bike issues, including my front tire.  Plenty of onlookers.  I thought my bike called attention, but Helege's monster is a crowd magnet.

An oil change at the BMW shop.

These guys were too funny.  Estos personajes eran muy graciosos.

Jorge and Marcelo on the right.  Father and son from Cordoba, who Mark and Helge had met in Cusco, Peru.  Jorge and Marcelo travelle from Cordoba to Cusco on 2 Vespas, 7,000 miles there and back... Yes, 7,000 miles on Vespas!!!

Leaving for the Vespa rally...  Saliendo a la reunion de Vespas...

View of Cosquin.  Vista de Cosquin.

So while we were relaxing in Cosquin, a couple of riders on a GoldWing and a Pacific Coast stopped to invite us to lunch.

Bike talk. Hablando de motos.

Mark's bike from the restaurant window...

Villa General Belgrano.

We decided to relax for a few days and get off the road, and that the best place to do it would be at my parents blueberry farm in Concordia, Entre Rios.  Two day ride, we stayed for three...

My mom and the kids, Lola, Toto and Blue.  Blue in the middle of the picture, was sad to see us go...

And on to Iguazu...  Y seguimos a Iguazu...

Not that many really.  For the kind of punishement I've given the bike, I really expected more problems.  In Alaska I had a final drive/rear transmission problem, but I think it was a one time thing and was handled and repaired well by BMW under warranty.  Other than that, I've also had the front brake rotors replaced twice, once at 24,000 miles and again at 45,000 miles.  Both times under warranty.  The bike is heavy, fully laoded, and I'm no lightweight myself.  I do ride it a bit fast and hard, and the brakes don't seem to do that well with all the weight, speed and heavy braking.  Other than that, at 60,000 miles, no problems.  I would buy this bike again.

Yup, still here.  Sorry I haven´t paid much attention to the site, but my laptop with the remainder of the pictures from the trip was stolen, and I've been a bit unmotivated to update.  Reality has caught up, and I am now living full time in Quito, Ecuador.  Still working on finding more pictures somehow and finishing up the trip report.  Thanks for your concern, and again, sorry I've been slow to update and reply.
